AOS vs
Claude Code.
A coding agent. Not a company.
Claude Code is the right tool for shipping code with a single agent in a terminal. We use it ourselves. It is not the right tool for everything around the code: GTM, customer success, compliance, finance. And it re-reads the full context on every turn, so a long session can burn tokens fast.
It lives in the terminal and it ships code. Ask it to run your customer success queue or your outbound and you are outside what it was built for.
Token spend climbs on long sessions because it resends the full history on each turn. Retries and idle plugins eat into the budget before you type.
It is one agent. No second pass from a separate reviewer, no security gate that is not you reading the diff.
Rate limits during peak hours can stall you mid-task.
Use Claude Code for engineering work. Use AOS when engineering is one department out of eight you need to run.
